Has anyone compared the NBA 2K27 level editor with normal progression?

Can someone explain the difference between all the level settings in NBA 2K27?

I keep seeing:

Level

Rep Level

Season Level

Skill Level

I'm guessing they're not all the same thing, but the names are making my brain hurt.

Does the level editor actually let you work with each separately?

Yeah, they're different progression categories. The current WH-Satano listing specifically has separate Rep Level, Season Level and Skill Level functions, plus a general Level Editor.

So changing one doesn't automatically mean changing everything?

That's the point of having them separated. Otherwise there wouldn't be much reason for separate controls.

Season Level seems pretty obvious, but Rep Level is the one I was confused about.

Same. I kept assuming Rep was just another name for player level.

Not necessarily. They're separate systems in the product menu, so treat them as separate settings rather than assuming they're interchangeable.

This is why I like menus that actually label things. Some tools just have "LEVEL 99" and you're like... cool, what did I just change? lol

    Exactly.

Does the tool have custom values or just max?

Current product description lists Level Up, Max Level, Custom Level and Progress Editor functionality.

Okay that's much clearer. I was mainly interested in progression, not cosmetics, so that's probably the part I'd use most.

Then I'd focus your comparison on the progression features first. The cosmetics are basically a separate reason to choose a menu.

Makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up.
